Their love of Old Time music, especially Old Time fiddle and banjo style music is their core sound with string band vocals added here and there ...for good measure.

Austin Stirling is a singer and a songwriter with various sounds up his sleeve. Formerly known from touring over the last several years as “The Hangdog Hearts”, he took all his traveling experience into the studio, consolidated it with some southern-fried focus, and created his debut solo album SALVE. A driven accumulation of fire and brimstone, floated with whiskey and gasoline.
You will hear an eclectic blend of all the styles where he has written, played and recorded each individual part as he works with a slew of brilliant musicians to bring to life the music he has pumping through his veins.
